The House in Sha Tin Considers the Environment

Millimeter Interior Design Limited have recently completed 'The House in Sha Tin,' a modern residence located in the Hong Kong district of the same name.

The architects adapted an existing building into a more sustainable structure, lessening the overall environmental impact. The architects built a facade over the existing walls, managing to refresh the home's exterior while minimizing the amount of waste produced. LED lights have been installed in the garage, adding to the chrome structure's futuristic appeal.

Inside, the house features lights that automatically turn off when a room is empty, heat-preventing aluminum panels that lower the need for air conditioning and solar panels for energy. Overall, The House in Sha Tin is a much greener structure than its predecessor.
