Created by Toronto design and architectural firm LineBox Studio Inc., this modern-looking two-story home has crisp lines, layered planes and contrasting materials that make it look more like a geometric piece of art than a home.
Its 2,400 sq. ft. interior opens up to white walls and pine-finished floors. On the opposite elevation, a single-story garage -- clad in richly stained pine in contrast to the neutral light-gray stucco of the main volume -- is extruded on the angle of the lot. Inside, an animated "folding" of space creates horizontal and vertical flow. Notice the generous and eclectic use of windows and glazed doors and how they draw light in from all sides. A truly exceptional design.
