Linda Covit Designed Calming Artwork for a Hospital

Hospital installations and artworks have proven to be a wonderful way for health institutions to alleviate the stress one might experience on their premises. A great example of this is 'Raindrops,' an outdoor sculpture located near Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemount's Dialysis Pavilion.

This hospital installation is erected on a long and narrow site that is accessible to the general public at all times. Artist Linda Covit used stainless steel, lights, and river stones to complete this project. The smooth lines of the raindrops definitely have a calming visual effect. Raindrops can be admired from multiple viewpoints.

'Raindrops was one of the Top 100 finalists for the prestigious CODAaward. Public voting for the People's Choice Award is open from June 20th to June 30th.
