Hoof by Samuel Wilkinson is a new line of tables whose legs look as if they've done some time in a pencil sharpener. The sharpened legs of Wilkinson's tables are surprisingly not pencil-inspired; they actually get their pointy design from horses.
The sharpened legs of Hoof mimic the way a horse's hoof is sharpened and filed down before it is fitted for a shoe. The tables were painted before they were sharpened as opposed to being left bare. This is a testament to the craftsmanship of Wilkinson as the point of each leg looks as if it was put through a giant pencil sharpener with no signs of prior paint present. Hoof by Samuel Wilkinson was made for the Danish furniture brand &traditions and debuted at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair.
