Sabine Marcelis' Brightly Colored Home Cubicle Folds Away When Not in Use

After suddenly finding a need to set up makeshift work from home solutions, many people are realizing the need to invest in better home office solutions and even home cubicles for the long term as they continue to find themselves working out of the office. The Candy Cubicle designed by Sabine Marcelis for Design Museum's Connected project at London Design Festival takes the form of a wooden box when not in use and it opens up to reveal a brightly colored interior.

When fully unfolded, the wooden box on wheels creates an L-shaped desk that offers plenty of storage space for documents and items. Marcelis created the maple wood home office setup in response to the need to support "new ways of working from and living at home" during lockdown.
