The product is formulated to be prepared with cold water rather than boiling water to allow for easier enjoyment that also taps into summertime enjoyment occasions. The product leverages the Cold Rehydrate formulation that was developed over five years and only needs to have chilled water added into the cup before waiting five minutes.
The Hiyashi Cup Noodle instant ramen noodles come in two flavors that are formulated to work well with its chilled composition, which includes Spicy Kimchi and Chicken Salt Lemon. The instant noodle products are launching in Japan on July 20, 2026 for 285 yen each.
