Loader Monteith Designs an Office for H&i Adventures

Scottish architecture studio Loader Monteith is the mind behind the new office design created for mountain bike tour company H&I Adventures. It is defined by its mono-pitched roof detail and joining this office are two private residences -- all of which are found on a sloped brownfield site in Scotland within Inverness.

The building is two stories and has a steeped roof with charred timber cladding outside with black metal detailing to complement it. Matt Loader, director of the studio told Dezeen, "A large part of the material selection was driven by the clients and their desire for a striking visibility of their work premises. We wanted to apply a rigour to the cladding on both houses and the office. This has led to a number of different board widths and depths being used."
