A group of engineers and designers working out of MIT have gone ahead and developed an exceptionally well-devised hand truck that is designed to make it easier than ever for people who are delivering large loads on hand trucks to ensure that they can quickly, easily and safely negotiate the treacherous obstacles that are stairs.

The Glyde hand truck system is designed specifically for hauling loads down stairs. Users can pull the handle to unveil treads that fold down on an angle, with the belts gripping the steps and ensuring that movement is smooth and safe.
