Haribo Set a Guinness Record for the Largest Gummy Candy Mosaic

Haribo kicked off 2024 by setting a new Guinness World Record for The World's Largest Jelly/Gummy Candy Mosaic. The larger-than-life Goldbear measured 353.1 square feet and was made up of about 150,000 Haribo Goldbears, assembled by associates, friends, family and community partners like the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha.

This astounding gummi art piece took four hours to assemble using custom acrylic 12"x12" trays inlaid with the printed design, which allowed participants to create the mural like a paint-by-numbers set.

Hot on the heels of its record-breaking achievement, Haribo announced its first-ever art contest, #HOWiHARIBO, which takes cues from the creative ways that fans play with gummies. From Goldbears and Twin Snakes to Happy Cherries, the #HOWiHARIBO contest invites artists and snackers to play, build and design their own gummi art creations.
