Da Capo Introduces the GT Deluxe out of Belgium

After four years in development, Belgium brand Da Capo launches a minimalist, hand-built, and valve-driven guitar amplifier. For decades most guitar amps have been uninspired big black boxes of sound. The Da Capo GT Deluxe Series, designed by Belgian artist Joeri Claeys, offers a fresh new approach to tube amp design. A guitar amplifier that not only sounds great during a session but looks amazing in your living room.

"This was my design goal: create a minimalist contemporary guitar amp, with a passionate eye for every detail, that will suit a modern interior. The guitar amp for people who don’t want to compromise on the aesthetics," explains Joeri Claeys. The bent wood and smooth five-axis CNC bodywork result in beautiful fluid curves, which feel almost organic by design yet minimalistic and well-balanced. The formed front and back panels are wrapped with the highest quality textile by the Scandinavian brand Kvadrat. The sustainable textile is from the Giulio Ridolfo collection, the expert when it comes to color.

But it’s not only good looks with the GT Deluxe. The amp is backed with state-of-the-art techniques. With switchable ‘20watt Studio’ and ‘40watt Stage’ outputs, the Da Capo GT Deluxe Series features circuitry designed in-house by respected engineer Guy Tiels, after whom the amp is named.
