Neiheiser Argyros Designs the New Renovated Modern Grid House

London-based practice Neiheiser Argyros works on the new Grid house, which is a renovation of a modernist home from the 70s. It is located in Evoia, Greece, and joins a series of minimal living spaces. It overlooks the scenic Euboic Sea and nods to the name due to the structural grid that opens up unveiling a single home with large windows.

The practice talks about the new design, stating "The Grid House is about repetition and difference," said the practice. A simple and regular concrete structural grid creates a variety of interior and exterior spaces with views across the Euboic Sea. The project is a full-gut renovation of an existing modernist house that creates a six-bedroom house tucked into the landscape, appearing modest from the entry but opening up its full width and height to the sea."
