Tesco Grated Cheese Packs Have Been Redesigned by Coveris

Many companies and brands are making moves in order to change or eliminate single-use plastics from their packaging, which is seeing new initiatives being launched like with Tesco grated cheese packs. The brand has announced it will be utilizing a polyethylene mono laminate structure that will replace its existing mixed, triple-layer nylon laminate. Developed by Coveris, the packaging material is fully recyclable and also has a reduced weight over the original for enhanced savings related to shipping.

Senior Packaging Manager at Tesco Denise Mathieson commented on the new Tesco grated cheese packs saying, "We’re really excited to have worked with Coveris on this new material, it is yet another step closer to realising our ambition of single polymer packaging which is much easier to recycle."
