Torn Fabric Flesh Sketches (UPDATE)

Illustrator PEZ Created Graphic Pencil Drawings

Illustrator, painter and graphic designer PEZ from Nantes, France created graphic pencil drawings where each character's flesh tears at the ends. Instead of blood and bone little pieces of fabric, graffiti and raw materials like wood can be seen in the shreds.

These incredible 3D sketches were drawn using only pencils yet they have so much depth and detail. The characters seem unharmed as their skin tears away by the power of their illustrator.

PEZ designed a previous series entitled 'The Distroy Series' where he drew cartoon characters with decomposing flesh. This is clearly his trademark for illustration. His characters go through a metamorphosis, not completely decomposing but becoming something new. In his previous series, Homer Simpson turned into a can of Duff.

In this series his characters turn into raw materials (string, pieces of fabric, wood) with no obvious purpose but the real beauty is in the texture that is so vibrant in his graphic pencil drawings.
