Mauerguide For Fallen Berlin Wall

The remainder of the Berlin Wall is a huge tourist landmark, but the problem was finding it, even with maps, as the wall isn't there anymore. Now with the help of a hand-sized touchscreen multimedia device with GPS, tourists can see a colorful map and a barrier line where the once 130-mile wall was located.

The device is called the "Mauerguide," German for "Wallguide." Audio and video narrate the wall's dramatic history including 22 historical significant spots along the East Germany's wall route. An interesting spot is the "Brandenburg Gate" where tourist will see short footage of Ronald Reagan in his famous 1987 speech saying, "Tear down this wall"
