The Gnarled Branch Presents Hand-Painted Gothic Ornaments

Using burnt-out light bulbs, The Gnarled Branch put together these hand-painted ornaments.

Primed, then painted on using acrylics and oil-based paints, each ornament has a story or scene that wraps around the bulb. Ghosts, reapers, cemeteries, haunted houses, eerie forests and ominous skies grace these former light bulbs. A spider-web patterned fabric attached to the top secures the black silk ribbon. Each ornament is then sprayed with a water-based sealant for protection.

What was once potentially landfill is transformed into delicate and curious works of art that can be displayed on Halloween or, for the follower of the macabre, in a spooky Christmas tree. Certainly people who live a Gothic lifestyle will appreciate these ornaments. Unique, handcrafted and preventing waste, these ornaments have it all!
