A series of shots by American photographer James Friedman entitled 'Interior Design' showcases hidden golf ball material. The photographer took various brands of golf balls and cleanly cut them in half. He then proceeded take amazing pictures of them. Each shot features a different golf ball with a beautiful and textured design within. Friedman captured each golf ball in the exact same way in order to increase the surreal effect.
Though the Interior Design collection only contains shots of golf balls, there are many incredible patterns. Each ball has a different otherworldly design hidden within. According to Friedman, "what I found inside inspired me to consider that I could discover, in the unlikeliest of places, elegant formal qualities and surprising metaphorical possibilities."
