Star Wars' 'Go Rogue' is Directed by Tucker Barrie and Dan Mackenzie

Earlier this year, Star Wars kicked off the launch of its Rogue One toys with four stop-motion animation videos called 'Go Rogue.' What's particularly noteworthy about these films is that they were directed by Tucker Barrie and Dan MacKenzie, who worked on Charlie Kaufman's Academy Award-nominated film Anomalisa.

In the first chapter, the story tells of how The Empire misplaced the building instructions to the Death Star. Some of the toys that are shown off in the artful film include LEGO Stormtrooper Minifigs, a Jyn Erso action figure and a Funko POP figurine of evil Director Orson Krennic.

The release of the Go Rogue series also served to kick off a global competition that called for fans to share their own "rogue stories" for the chance to win a trip to the premiere of Rogue One.
