Sucker Punch Productions released a new online co-op mode called Legends for Ghost of Yotei, with the update going live today and featuring a narrative retelling of Atsu’s battle against the Yotei Six, designed to justify larger demon encounters. The team said development began alongside the single-player campaign in 2020–21 and that Legends was built to integrate into Yotei’s lore while offering distinct multiplayer pacing.
Legends includes four difficulty tiers—Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum—with each tier presenting unique enemies and challenges and awarding bonus XP. The update also expands visual customization with outsize cosmetic rewards and transforms the prior simple lobby into a full social hub with PvP options and mini games.
For players, Legends delivers cooperative progression, replayability and a more social ecosystem that elevates Ghost of Yotei beyond a single-player showcase.
