ASICS' New GEL-Lyte XT Pack Draws Mountaineering Inspiration.

Footwear label ASICS moves away from the usual offerings of running shoe selections as it works in collaboration with YMC on a series of GEL-Lyte XT silhouettes. YMC is a London-based label and it stands for "You Must Create" -- the duo draw mountaineering inspiration when updating the footwear model. Constructing the shoes with a mix of quilted nylon fabric and water-resistant suede materials, all of which lies on a foundation of rugged outsoles.

The GEL-Lyte XT sneakers are made in two tonal options -- a purple and teal iteration and a tan and brown version. To complement the sneakers are some apparel including tees and socks that reference the two sneaker colorways as well as some branding details from both labels.
