Gatsby Chocolate Has Less Than Half the Calories of Regular Chocolate

Gatsby chocolate is a new venture from Halo Top co-founder Doug Bouton and it shares chocolate with fewer calories and sugar than traditional chocolate. The chocolates set themselves apart with dressy branding that resembles a suit to match the brand name and products that contain half the calories and a quarter of the sugar of traditional chocolate.

Available in milk chocolate and almond dark chocolate varieties, the chocolate bars are made with allulose and esterified propoxylated glycerol, a modified plant-based oil ingredient that is said to taste and function like fat while offering fewer calories. With the milk chocolate variety, there are just 60 calories, four grams of sugar and four grams of net carbohydrates, which comes in at much lower numbers across the board in comparison to classic chocolate bars.
