The 'Food to Go' Ads Transform Food into Finely Crafted Sculptures

Promoting Spanish restaurant VIPS's takeout service, ad agency Leo Burnett Iberia created a series of print ads called 'Food to Go.' The ads use the visuals of finely crafted food and the tagline "Handmade with time so you don’t waste yours." Each illustration is a drawing of food made to look like an expensive sculpture.

Whether carved with wood, soapstone or marble, the sculptures look like a master sculptor spent years carving them. Though not immediately clear, the tagline clarifies the fact that VIPS takes great care in crafting its food.

Each ad also shows a variety of different cuisines in order to appeal to a wider audience. From sushi to sandwiches, VIPS's ads imply that there is a wide variety of options for the discerning foodie.
