TFT Shared Its Food Allergen Detection System at CES 2020

Taiwan User-Friendly Sensor and Tech (TFT) introduced its food allergen detection system at CES 2020, showing off a portable device powered by medical-level technology that is capable of detecting allergens in food. A trio of experts in the medical testing field came together to develop a system to support increased food safety and minimize the risk of potential health hazards.

For many people with sensitivities to nuts, seafood, milk and other common allergens, going out to eat can be risky, especially depending on the severity of one's reaction to a certain kind of food. Unlike most currently food allergen detection technology that's only capable of delivering a "yes" or "no" response based on allergens detected, TFT's system shares the actual amount of allergens in food.
