Volcanic-Blended Architecture

Oto Architecture Firm Creates an HQ on Fogo Island

Fogo Island is a rugged landscape covered in volcanic rock and an abundance of natural vegetation. In order to preserve this, the government of Cape Verde ordered a headquarters to be built on the island, with the help of Oto Architecture firm.

The end design of the place is one of the most natural looking buildings to date. It blends in perfectly with the surrounding area, taking on the same coloring and general look of the volcanic rock in the background. Considering the place is being used for a headquarters that will preserve the look and naturalness of the area, this structure is the perfect fit.
