Mind-Boggling Flower Parades

The Netherland's Corso Zundert Stuns with Dahlia-Covered Floats

It is hard to comprehend that the floats driven down the streets in the small town of Zundert, the Netherlands, for the world's largest flower parade are made entirely out of dahlias. Ranging in subject matter, colors and shapes, the flower parade floats all have one thing in common: gigantic sizes. That, and detail. In spite of being made out of flowers, the muscles of a flexing horse bulge out and the plumes of a bird will take people's breath away.

The annual flower parade was comprised of 20 floats, each of which were created by various districts within the city. Of course, the the first place prize was awarded to the brawny horse float, Horsepower. It does have a hilarious amount of personality, after all.
