Colvin's Florist Shop Resembles a Flower Field Under Shady Trees

Roman Izquierdo Bouldstridge worked with start-up Colvin on transforming a space in Barcelona that previously housed a bank office into a functional florist shop. While many flower shops have surfaces at all heights that are filled with flowers, as well as large counters that divide the space, this design sets itself apart with a clean and airy design that takes cues from the natural world—in fact, the interior was developed after "a field of flowers with pathways under the shade of the trees."

The florist shop boasts crisp white walls that contrast the colorful floral arrangements that sit on trunk-like wooden beams that are dispersed throughout the space. The store itself takes the form of a semi-open workshop that is divided from other private areas for staff.
