With help from funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk, a floral artwork replica of Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder's 'A Still Life of Flowers in a Wan-Li Vase' painting now sits outside of The National Gallery in London.
While the large-scale artwork is inspired by a painting, it is actually constructed from real flowers. It took 30 florists two days to assemble the artful floral piece, which celebrates the support that funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk is bringing to the museum's Dutch Flowers exhibit.
The incredible floral art piece was constructed with tulips, peonies, carnations, roses and more in 37 different colors for accurate depth and shading. In order to keep the painting-inspired floral installation looking fresh, it even has its own built-in water irrigation system.
