The Flophouze Hotel Features Rooms Made from Recycled Shipping Containers

Made up of six tiny homes that are all laid out on a farm in Round Top, Texas, the Flophouze Hotel is a travel alternative for guests who are looking to get closer to nature with the comfort of home.

The hotel offers individual units that are all made from recycled shipping containers and are finished off with salvaged goods. The design team found the best and most unique pieces of timber to create the flooring and walls, including reclaimed distillery flooring and bowling alley lanes. Each interior offers vintage furnishing that is comfortable yet luxurious, with retro rugs and global artwork.

All guests who stay at the Flophouze Hotel have the ability to enjoy the cozy atmosphere inside and outside, listen to the thorough collection of vinyl or stargaze at night in the hammock.
