A large percentage of people who require inhalers for asthma and/or other respiratory issues don't use them correctly, so the conceptual 'Flohaler' has been created to help encourage better habits amongst patients.
Designed by James Plimmer, the inhaler features an angled form that requires users to tilt their head backwards when being used to open up the airway. The narrowed mouthpiece also works to slow down the user when inhaling as medication is often inhaled too quickly, which can decrease its effectiveness.
The conceptual 'Flohaler' is an impressively designed healthcare solution that, while highly effective, doesn't make drastic changes to the original design of the inhaler. This makes it a realistic device that could be easily implemented into the industry.
