Fiol's New Rosé Prosecco is Made from Glera and Pinot Noir Grapes

Italian luxury prosecco brand Fiol Prosecco has debuted a new 'Fiol Rosé' blend created by winemaker Marzio Pol. According to the company, the new expression intends to fill the space between its luxury bubbly offerings and more affordable supermarket prosecco varieties.

Made with 85% glera and 15% pinot noir grapes, the new 'Fiol Rosé' blend presents a beautiful pale coral color. As for taste, the sparkling wine is said to produce notes and wild strawberry and raspberry, on the nose, with a palate that conjures citrus lemon and white flowers.

"We aspired to produce an outstanding rosé unlike any other on the market, that would also be positioned as the go-to for everyday celebrations," said the co-founder of Fiol, Gian Lucas Passi. It appears that Passi and his team certainly struck the right balance, considering the new expression recently won a gold award at the 2021 'DB Prosecco Masters.'
