Ahead of the upcoming holiday, Hapa Sushi had a funny Father's Day ad developed for it by TDA Boulder called 'Who's Your Fish Daddy?' In the print advertisement, numerous eggs on an illustrated salmon roe-loaded sushi roll shows seven of 19 fish eggs making well-wishes to a mystery fishy father. Although the ad is pretty amusing, the ad doesn't explain this but unfortunately for the fish eggs, salmon roe are actually unfertilized eggs, which would make this particular kind of fish eggs totally fatherless.
The humorous Hapa Sushi print ad will be spread across local Colorado newspapers and displayed as in-restaurant posters and table tents. Just because these fish eggs happen to be fatherless on Father's Day it doesn't mean that you can't enjoy some quality time—or sushi—with your dad.
