Biometric Car Rental Services

Fast Lane is Hertz's Solution to Long Car Rental Wait Times

Hertz and security startup CLEAR recently formed a partnership to introduce Fast Lane, a biometric car rental service. Operating first at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the biometric car rental service hopes to speed up car rentals drastically in a more secure fashion. While the service will first appear at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, both companies hope to expand the service to over 40 Hertz locations over the course of 2019.

Customers hoping to take advantage of the Fast Lane service will need a Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account and a linked CLEAR rewards account. Once that has all been established customers simply need to show up at Hertz, select their car, and check out by showing their face to the biometric kiosk at the exit.
