This Hermès Pop-Up Fashion Workshop in Kyoto will Have Revolving Displays

Housed within a Gion Machiya on Hanamikoji street in Kyoto, Japan, this Hermès pop-up fashion workshop will be the home of a series of different displays and workshops developed by the brand.

The interior space of the pop-up shop is the design work of Koicihro Oniki and features a wooden display that is held together via joints rather than by glue or screws.

The Hermès pop-up fashion workshop will remain open for nine months and will offer shoppers a number of different shopping experiences throughout the course. The first workshop that will be available is the HERMÈSMATIC service, which plays on the idea of the laundromat. Shoppers can purchase a scarf, which can then be rinsed and dried for a beautiful final product that takes 20 days to complete.
