COS x Nendo's Fashion Collection Presentation Tells a Story

This fashion collection presentation from COS x Nendo was put together for the Salone del Mobile 2014 as a celebration of space. The inspiration for the installation began with a single white shirt, and uses a series of metal frames to make it seem as though there have been alterations to the garment and physical space.

The careful placement of the shirts and the open-frame boxes makes it look as though some of the white shirts have been partly submerged in a darker coloring, turning sleeves, hemlines and in some cases, entire shirts black, blue or gray. Although the installation is pretty minimal, it's got a lot of character and as the shirts seem to float through the space, it's easy to see a story unravel.
