Fairy Tale Forest Editorials

Vogue Japan Creates a Dark and Fantastical World for Fall

As though straight out of a Brothers Grimm story, which are filled with its fair share of fairy tale forests, the latest editorial out of Vogue Japan is dark, mysterious and gorgeously feminine. The fashion itself looks as though it belongs in another world. Perhaps it will inspire a few episodes of 'Once Upon a Time.'

The fairy tale forest editorial was shot by photographer Emma Summerton. Titled 'Into the Woods,' it stars an impressive cast including Bruna Rosa, Dasha Gold, Katryn Kruger, Pauline Hoarau, Sophie Touchet, Veroniek Gielkens and Zlata Mangafic. They were styled by Giovanna Battaglia, who pulled dramatic pieces fit for nymphs from such labels as Thom Browne, Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen. Makeup artist Marla Belt and hair stylist Rutger perfected the looks.
