The Fabric Watch’ by Inbal Aderka is not the typical wrist watch. Aderka designs a timepiece that is more like a head wrap but designed to loop around the wrists.
Aderka is one of three winners for a design competition for Breil, a renowned watch and jewelry brand in Italy. Breil collaborated with Designboom to seek out international participants to design the next iconic watch design.
Amongst a fleet of eager designers, Aderka’s criteria was to envision a design of a stainless steel watch that will be added to Breil’s collection line. The requirements was a unisex analog watch that had to be strapped on the wrist. With her ‘Fabric Watch’, she created a timepiece that is fun and fashionable.
