Zaha Hadid Creates This Design in Nuremberg

When it comes to exhibition halls, Zaha Hadid knows how to make them both distinct and functional, as exemplified by this one found in Nuremberg.

The design features columns on the side that look like they were inspired by trees. As one walks around the building these tree-like columns turn into smooth glass, which wraps through the rest of the structure. The columns are for more than just looks, as they are also used to regulate some of the heat that enters the inside of the building through the glass. In the summer it can become quite hot, so these small add-ons should make attending the exhibition hall that much more enjoyable for tourists and locals alike. Photo Credits: designboom, zaha-hadid
