Ennua Element 01 is a functional art bench created with engineering methods adapted from high-performance automotive design. Its primary structure is a carbon fiber frame that serves as the load-bearing element, mirroring the construction of a carbon fiber monocoque. The piece pairs that framework with Bridge of Weir leather layered over BioPRO, a protein-based foam produced from collagen recovered during leather manufacturing. Precision-machined titanium, aluminum, brass and gold components complete the construction with tightly controlled tolerances.
Manufactured in the United Kingdom, the bench is available with exposed, tinted or painted carbon fiber alongside customizable leather colors and metal finishes specified for each commission. The inaugural release is limited to 199 individually numbered pieces, with pricing starting at approximately $145,000. Element 01 launched in mid-June as the first design in the Element by Ennua series.
