American beauty Dree Hemingway stars in a relaxed, sun-drenched editorial for the Elle France Feb 2012 issue. A model and actress, Dree is the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, and daughter of actress Mariel Hemingway. The shoot showcases fanciful, Bohemian-inspired fun, with Dree decked out in flowing dresses made of retro patterns, platform shoes and whimsical scarves.
The sunny editorial was photographed by Dan Martensen and styled by Marine Braunschvig. Dree is pictured in lots of red with chunky jewelry, which contrasts the stark white walls that are illuminated by natural light. Hair and makeup is natural, which adds to the effect of the honest lighting and totally wearable looks.
