Last-Mile Folding Hoverboards

The 'Electric Balance Car' is Designed for the Commuter Lifestyle

The conceptual 'Electric Balance Car' has been created with commuters in mind to ensure they are able to get around town with ease. Incorporating a single-wheel design, the unit is able to offer riders the ability to commute within the city or as a last-mile commuting option. The compact, folding design makes it seamless to keep in your trunk, while also being perfect for storage in your workspace for charging between uses.

The 'Electric Balance Car' is the design work of Huang Lin, Lu Heng, Mu Tong, Wang Ruihua and Zhang Bowen, and identifies how hoverboard scooter designs can be made more applicable for modern commuters. The conceptual scooter is the winner of the Red Dot Design Concept Award for 2017.
