El Mayor Tequila's Blanco and Reposado Now Come in 375mL Sizes

Last year, El Mayor Tequila introduced a 1.75L size for large gatherings, parties and better value, and now, the brand's award-winning Blanco and Reposado can be found in a new 375mL size. "We know people want great tequila that fits their lifestyle and their budget," said El Mayor Brand Manager Kayleigh Longo. "Offering a smaller size like our 375mL makes it easier to discover something new, whether you're attending a party or mixing a simple cocktail at home."

To make it easier for drinkers to create flavorful springtime cocktails, El Mayor and Cocktail Courier introduced a cocktail kit that features a 375mL bottle of El Mayor Reposado and the ingredients for a Tequila Sunrise Spritz and Paloma Fresca, including cilantro-jalapeño syrup, pomegranate juice, a packet of salt and dehydrated blood orange wheels.

Trend Themes

  1. Small-format Packaging — Smaller bottle sizes that balance discoverability and affordability create room for niche SKUs and micro-editions that can disrupt traditional liquor assortment models.
  2. Bundled Cocktail Kits — Co-packaged spirits with curated mixers and garnishes present a modular product format that can upend single-item retail by embedding experiential value directly into the purchase.
  3. Value-conscious Premiumization — Shifting consumer demand toward affordable premium options opens pathways for brands to reframe premiumization through accessible formats and transparent value propositions.

Industry Implications

  1. Spirits and Alcohol Retail — Retailers facing compressed shelf space can leverage compact premium SKUs and co-branded kits to redefine assortment strategies and drive higher-margin impulse purchases.
  2. Direct-to-consumer Beverage Subscriptions — Subscription services that integrate small-format bottles and themed cocktail experiences could alter recurring-revenue models by increasing trial rates and personalization.
  3. Hospitality and Event Catering — Catering and event operators adopting single-serve premium spirits and portable cocktail kits may reshape cost structures and client expectations for on-site beverage experiences.
