Elegant Edible Couture

You May Work up an Appetite Looking at the Wearable Foods Series

The series Wearable Foods by Korean artist Yeonju Sung combines tasty produce with edible couture, resulting in one seriously mouth watering look book.

The elegant dresses and blouses seen in this crafty collection were made from wholesome, healthy foods such as bananas, eggplants, onions, chives, tomatoes and mushrooms just to name a few. Each of these appetizing dresses has an hour glass shape, and each one is detailed and completely unique. These looks are extremely eye-catching. And to think, we’re brought up not to play with our food!

These juicy looks are both colorful and compost friendly. What’s not to love?  It’s lucky that this fantastic collection of yummy handcrafted clothing is also a photography series. After all, that’s the trouble with dresses made out of delicious foods; they don’t keep well!
