Ecover's New Dish Soap Bottle Raises Awareness on Ocean Plastic

Ecover is a company based in Belgium that makes eco-friendly cleaning products. Its new dish soap bottle designed by the Logoplaste Innovation Lab is made from 10% recycled plastic, aiming to raise awareness on the issue on the amount of trash that's in the ocean.

In each square mile of ocean, there's over 46,000 pieces of plastic waste, which is incredibly damaging to sea life like fish, mammals and eventually, it comes back to harm humans and other creatures on land too.

In the production of these bubbly, fish-shaped bottles over this year, Ecover expects to use about a tonne of ocean plastic. In three year's time, this amount is anticipated to increase to three tonnes.
