Ecoterica Surreally Awakens the Senses with Kaleidoscopic Visuals

At the InfoComm technology conference, visitors had the opportunity to step into an imaginative nature installation called 'Ecoterica' that was created by Epson and experiential design studio Second Story. The serene space was designed to rekindle a connection to the natural world with ever-changing, kaleidoscopic images of flora and fauna, as well as the sounds of crickets, birds and more.

The immersive installation presented large-scale images to guests at eye-level, which was a deliberate decision that was used to foster intimate connections between art and the viewers. According to Second Story executive creative director Joel Krieger, "The experience feels intimate, personal and otherworldly," and "In a way, this installation is making a statement about how these images of plants and animals should be very familiar to you."
