Nike's React Element 87 Boasts an Easter Corduroy Makeover

Xylar Chan is a sneaker customizer based in Hong Kong and his recent design reworks the signature React Element 87 by Nike, entitled the 'Easter Corduroy.' The new sneakers take a festive approach as Easter recently passed, also highlighting soft elements with the incorporation of corduroy materials throughout the paneling uppers.

The inspiration behind the project is by Sean Wotherspoon -- the designer often reworks bright iterations of Nike silhouettes showcased through his recent Air Max 1 and Air Max 97s. The Easter Corduroy sneakers are lined with white lambskin and feature easter-themed colors throughout the uppers, including yellow, pale green, blue, peach, and more. The only portion of the original silhouette that remains is the React Element 87 outsole.
