At E3 2008, the Wii MotionPlus was unveiled by Nintendo, and Wii fans can't seem to control their excitement. It's a tiny little chip, about the size of a Lego cube, that plugs into the bottom of your Wii Remote controller to offer heightened sensitivity for better motion control and new gaming functions. It "redefines game control, by more quickly and accurately reflecting motions in a 3-D space," according to a Nintendo press release.

"Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play," Nintendo adds.

Nintendo will unveil more details at E3 2008 later today. The event at the LA Convention Center covers the hottest new innovations by the best gaming brands. Stay tuned as we bring you more of the highlights from the show!
