Budget airline easyJet recently set up a cafe pop-up in collaboration with the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions to share a popular, traditional Dutch breakfast—Hagelslag.
Hagelslag refers to small confections that are similar to sprinkles that are used as sandwich toppings. At the pop-up #SprinklesCafe, guests had the chance to enter the brightly colored space and make a fun order. Some of the options on the Café van der Sprinkles' DIY sprinkle menu made it possible for consumers to order a base, as well as the types of sprinkles they would like, and even an art-inspired template.
According to easyJet, 750,000 Dutch people sprinkles on buttered bread for breakfast on a daily basis, which certainly makes the destination appealing to anyone with a sweet tooth.
