German brand Moss introduces a look at the Dune Light, which is made with inspiration from the looks of rolling sand forms. The sculptural light is comprised of a series of aluminum shades, reflecting the light and shadows that are naturally cast on dunes in the desert.
It was designed by Daniel Becker and he created curved aluminum shapes that reflect the light accordingly. Moss notes, "Lined up next to each other, their dynamic curves and soft surfaces create an exciting landscape in any space." The design of the light is intended to be modular -- it all holds together using thin metal connectors. This invites as many shades to be added as users please, which can be applied vertically, in clusters, or horizontally.
