The Duet collection introduces a range of architectural hardware developed by Lo & Co in collaboration with Melbourne-based SMAC Studio. The collection includes cabinet pulls, knobs and levers that combine brushed brass with polished nickel, applying mixed-metal finishes across a unified product family. The hardware draws from the appearance of fine jewelry, using contrasting textures and reflective surfaces to create visual depth while maintaining balanced proportions throughout each design.
The collection was informed by the designers' observations of mixed-metal interiors during Milan Design Week and a visit to Vincenzo De Cotiis' Milan apartment. SMAC Studio established the jewelry-inspired direction through early sketches before Lo & Co refined the forms, proportions and finishes for production. The brushed brass and polished nickel were selected to reflect light differently without allowing either finish to dominate.
