Thanks to a collaboration between HI-CHEW and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, those with a sweet tooth can now enjoy a refreshing summer treat in the form of HI-CHEW Dragon Fruit Frozen Yogurt. The candy-inspired non-fat frozen yogurt treat boasts a vibrant color that mimics the tropical fruit's flesh and a recipe that avoids the use of artificial flavors, artificial colors and high fructose corn syrup.
The popularity of the brilliantly colored, sweet-tart fruit led to the release of HI-CHEW's Dragon Fruit candy in the Superfruit Mix, alongside other fun flavors like Açaí and Kiwi. This new candy flavor was introduced following a vote from consumers based on the top Japanese flavor they'd most like to see on the shelves.
Outside of candy, dragon fruit flavors are now also appearing in a variety of tropically inspired beverages and snacks.
