Domino’s The Domino pizza is the brand's latest item innovation that aims to fill a gap in its menu and deliver consumers with impressive taste and texture.
The pizza gets its name from its signature shape inspired by the brand's logo and boasts pan dough covered with two layers of cheese and toppings, depending on customer preferences. The single-serve pizza is then cut into two pieces for easy enjoyment out of the house or being eaten at home during the week in place of cooking. The pizza is great for one person, but can be ordered in multiples to let all members of a family or group enjoy their own personalized pizza.
Chief Operating Officer and President of Domino's US and incoming CEO Joe Jordan commented on Domino’s The Domino pizza saying, "The Domino fills a gap in our portfolio. When everyone wants something different, traditional pizza falls short. The Domino lets every person build the exact pizza they want. It’s fitting that the next generation in pizza is shaped like the logo of the No. 1 pizza company in the world. The Domino is so mouthwatering that we gave it our name!"
